Our client is one of Greece’s leading industrial companies with a strong international presence in four Business Units, Metallurgy, EPC, Electric Power and Gas Trading, is currently seeking to hire an Applications & Integration Architect.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develops Enterprise Application standards, governance frameworks, and system integration standards
• Develops and maintains the information technology landscape to include integration platforms
• Works closely with security officers to ensure all applicable security and compliance standards and requirements are incorporated into architecture & integration design
• Acts as an advisor to project teams on the use of integration technology, data architecture and modeling, system architecture including integration best practices
• Oversees critical steps within the Software Development Life Cycle components that impact enterprise wide architecture and integration standards.
• Works with project teams on the definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects into the Enterprise Architecture.
• Conduct various architecture operational and resiliency test as part of delivering the architecture.
• Manages externals team members and partners and oversees their work in Enterprise Architecture & Integration areas.
• Investigates and troubleshoots EA & Integration related issues raised via the ticketing system in collaboration with external advisors
• Supports the preparation of RFI’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s for seeking technology solutions & services proposals in the organization’s vendor ecosystem.
• Address technical concerns, risk and issues based on technical standards
• Supports actions for the compliance of the EA with applicable Corporate Policies and Security standards.
• Communicates project status to various levels of management
• University Degree in Computer Science or any other related discipline.
• Postgraduate Degree in a related field is highly desirable.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including Web services, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Business process automation and orchestration tools and software
• Deep understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) or Microservices Architecture
• Deep understanding of traditional integration layer (REST or SOAP), and modern architecture Integration layer
• Experience in solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application & integration support
• Experience in leading and/or managing projects relevant to Enterprise Architecture & Integration
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Strong capability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical users.
• Ability to meet timelines cognizant of business needs and constraints.

Requirements

• Experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills; ability to perform complex system analysis and draw conclusions by relating information from different sources, including root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Self-motivated, with high ethical standards, attention to detail and exceptional customer service orientation.
