The Role
They are looking for an IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain, who will play a pivotal role in analyzing business requirements, designing innovative solutions, and implementing strategies to enhance their supply chain operations. They will be collaborating closely with their IT and business teams, ensure the seamless integration of technology into the supply chain domain, from initial analysis through design, implementation, testing, and successful production deployment.
Key responsibilities:
- Business Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business needs, identifying opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements within the supply chain domain
- Solution Design: Develop comprehensive solutions that address business challenges, utilizing your expertise in IT and supply chain management.
- Implementation: Lead or participate in the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring their alignment with project objectives and delivering tangible benefits to the organization
- Testing: Coordinate and perform testing activities to validate the functionality and performance of supply chain solutions
- User Support: Provide support and guidance to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth adoption of new technology solutions
- Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation for supply chain solutions, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably within supply chain, logistics, or distribution
- Experience in WMS systems
- Experience with SAP modules, such as SAP MM, PP, and SD
- SAP EWM or SAP certification in SC management are a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in understanding and translating business needs into technical requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment
