They are looking for a Cloud Governance Manager to join their IT team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of cloud environments and architectures, as well as an outstanding background in people management, leadership and cloud governance.
Purpose of the job:
- Proactively manage and monitor the integrity, availability, performance and security of the cloud systems
- Supervise engineers and make sure all cloud solutions can meet current and future business needs
- Develop strategies to ensure scalability, integrate third-party solutions
- Establish and maintain cloud governance to provide oversight of how other teams, architects, DevOps engineers will work in the cloud
- Research best practices and provide roadmap to ensure Cloud Governance framework is optimized
- Guide and manage other agile product managers though governance & process, ensure development teams are well-led and are using Agile at scale
- Develop and Establish the guidelines to ensure other product owners, optimize infrastructure costs, licensing, sizing.
- Ensure Governance and Cloud Architecture that enables increasingly Agile Delivery and Delivery Automation, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment (DevOps)
Formal Qualifications and Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 8 years of experience in IT cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, CGP)
- 5+ years of experience in leading teams
- Proven experience with Cloud transformation projects and cloud-governance principle
- Good knowledge of cloud security and policies
- Good knowledge of cloud automation (policy or Infrastructure as Code
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Desired experience of IT services in complex multinational environments
- Good understanding of mission critical architectures, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, implementation and testing
- experience in migrating large size systems to cloud [e.g. CRM, ERP, BW]
- Experience in working with multinational distributed virtual teams is considered benefit
- Experience in Azure Cloud is a major advantage
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Communication, organizational and analytical skills
