The role:
A CPO is a strategic leader, team supervisor, and an advocate of an organization’s product (or products). The primary goal of the CPO is to lead and facilitate the creation of products that deliver value to both customers and the business.
Reporting to the company’s CEO, a chief product officer aims to meet the needs and goals of products of the overall business.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the product development technology and engineering department
- Manage products and teams to create products with value for the company and its customers
- Ensure smooth delivery of products
- Align product features with the company’s goal.
- Align business goals with customer needs via products
- Facilitate product-led growth via vision development, product strategy, team management.
