On the Front End team, they are continuously innovating and improving the user experience across all products.
They are obsessed with crafting rich, elegant and performant user interfaces that deliver value to users within our eLearning services ecosystem. They partner closely with product owners, designers, and back-end engineers to create frictionless eLearning experiences.
You’ll help brainstorm, scope, build and expand a rock-solid front-end platform across our products for the hundreds of thousands of users that interact with our services. Join us to leverage your JavaScript and UI development expertise to build these frameworks.
People who do well on this team are self-motivated engineers with a passion for both the business and technology innovation. They look for individuals with deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, who are comfortable writing custom JavaScript but also know when to apply off-the-shelf solutions for the problem. They also value people who are passionate about user experience and have an eye for improving the UI. They currently work with React, but the ability to adapt to any novel technology is a must-have.

What’s it like working for them?
They focus on great culture. They want to end our work happy and start the next day happier. Mind you, this is harder than it sounds, but they try our best to not create problems other than technical ones, listen to our people’s needs, and sometimes just take a break if they must.
A typical day at work can involve many things: working on a new feature the Product Manager has specified, investigating a new technology that is of interest to our customers, or fixing a problem reported by our QA team or customers. Our developers contribute code on a daily basis, which undergoes code reviews by peer programmers and then tested by the QA team.
They have several teams working on different products or areas of focus, with a size of 3 to 10 people, utilizing a healthy mix of experienced and junior devs. Our teams are mostly self-organizing, but most of them are using Scrum and are being led by a senior engineer. Our company is ISO 27001 & 9001 certified, so they have structure and processes, but without being bureaucratic. They are also proud to be one of the first companies to join the EU Cloud Code of Conduct.
