Our client provides state-of-the-art solutions for airspace design & planning, airport operations monitoring and performance analysis, flight tracking & aviation noise modeling and fast-time simulation.
Airspace design: The company enables TERPS/PBN and PANS-OPS procedure design using their patented Airspace Information Modeling methodology that enables the simultaneous criteria, aircraft performance and environmental impact evaluation of a procedure “on-the-fly” during design time.
Airport performance: The company offers the most comprehensive solution for airport performance monitoring. Using a combination of locally installed ADS-B sensors and SWIM data integration PLUS offers complete airport surface models with the capability to review real-time operations or view playback of historic operations. Metrics such as throughput (per runway, operation type, etc.), delays, taxi times and emissions are analyzed instantly and can be viewed on the interactive map or in a dashboard format.
Flight Tracking: The company enables the complete monitoring of flight activity around an airport or specific airspace. Flight compliance can be evaluated by using Geofencing (Gates/Corridors) or by directly matching tracks to the respective procedures. Virtual Noise Monitoring (VNM) allows the user to monitor noise impact at any location.
Fast-time-simulation: Our client is the next generation of fast-time-simulation software allowing the user to plan airport operations and evaluate new airport operational scenarios. These may include runway closures, taxiway maintenance, taxi network expansion. All local airport restrictions (such as taxiway, gate, separation restrictions) can be easily added to the model ensuring realistic simulation results.
They are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join their team to build web applications from scratch.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
- Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved
- Work closely with team members to build features, resolve issues and deploy business critical applications, service layers, and API
- Write great code that is well-tested and documented
Required skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience as Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Knowledge of at least one front-end language and library (React, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (Python, PHP, Java, Node.js) and libraries(Django, Laravel, Spring Boot)
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. PostgresQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. AWS, NGINX, Express.js) and UI/UX design
- Good understanding of implementing CI/CD processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail
