Our client was established in February 2008, provides integrated services in telecommunication and energy networks. The company participates actively and dynamically in the development / upgrade of telecommunication digital networks in several European Countries, the design and installation of energy systems that mainly use renewable energy sources as well as in the development and commercialization of software platforms for smart management applications.
Since their foundation they have undertaken various implementation contracts for some of the most respectable international telecommunication companies.
Today, they maintain premises in various locations in Germany, Greece, Netherlands and Romania, as well as an extensive network of partners that allows us to respond immediately for any given telecom and energy project.
The Role:
The Head of IT and Digital Transformation will be responsible for leading the digital transformation efforts of the company delivering telecommunications infrastructure projects across all company’s regions in Europe. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy that will improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing successful digital transformation initiatives in complex organizations and will be able to lead a team of digital experts to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
- Identify and prioritize digital initiatives that will deliver the greatest impact in terms of operational efficiency, customer experience, and revenue growth.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement digital solutions that improve business processes and operations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, and IT teams, to ensure alignment and support for digital initiatives.
- Manage the budget and resources required to deliver the digital strategy, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives, using data and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with emerging digital technologies and trends and provide thought leadership and guidance to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration or a related field.
- A Business Analytics background is a must.
- Basic programming experience in .NET and C#
- Knowledge of basic coding languages (Java, C, C++)
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems (SQL Server preferred)
- Understanding of WEB (client/server applications, http etc.)
- At least 5-7 years of experience in digital transformation, with a focus on delivering business results.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing budgets and resources and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex digital concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and analytics to drive business decisions.
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and/or related industries is a plus.
- Fluency in English and one or more European languages (German, Dutch, French).
