Our client is one of the largest providers of financial services in the automotive sector in Europe, offering products ranging from the financing of new and used vehicles of all Group’s brands, over direct banking, to dealer financing. Your task

They are currently looking for a strategic Head of IT & PMO. The role holder will be part of the leadership team of the company, who will take full responsibility for the IT and the project area and its further transformation and regional coordination in the company’s FS.

The Head of IT & PMO will manage a team of 7 employees including a number of outsourced services, as well as other external software providers. The position holder will also be responsible for sourcing and steering IT capabilities and solutions to deliver excellent support to the company’s products and business departments, enabling digitalization and continuous efficiency improvements.

Main tasks and responsibilities as Head of IT & PMO

• Part of the company’s FS Greece Management Team reporting to the Country Manager Greece
• Responsible for overall management of IT & PMO department (7 direct reports).
• Manage the performance of the IT & PMO staff, consider organizational needs of the company and drive needed changes in the department with involvement of HR and the Country Manager.
• Develop the team by monitoring performance and providing timely, specific and accurate feedback, while motivating the team to deliver the best IT services possible;
• Develop and steer the projects portfolio ensuring quality and adherence to standards defined by the company’s FS.
• Assign resources to projects and operating activities ensuring a prioritized and balanced approach making full use of available resources and their capabilities.
• Manage IT costs by defining IT projects and running services portfolios in alignment with the company’s strategy. Full responsibility for IT Cost Planning.
• Implement the regional IT strategic alignment through initiatives and projects with focus on operational effectiveness and sustainability, enabling cost efficiency and business innovation.
• Align IT landscape according to the local business strategy, the company’s FS Global IT strategy in coordination with regional IT initiatives.
• Define and implement outsourcing strategies. Define and negotiate SLAs and follow-up on outsourcing partners.
• Manage SLAs of IT & PMO services towards business departments and secure stable service request fulfillment and user management operations.
• Responsible for daily operations of ICT platforms, systems, integrations and processes. Secure sustainable solutions to incidents and oversee problem management activities.
• Acting as Local Information Security Officer (LISO) and support Internal Audit – support for 3rd line of defense.
• Act as Local Outsourcing Officer (LOO): Manage relations with local software vendors and other IT partners, communicating expectations and steering the deliveries in projects and daily operations and oversee the vendor management
• Monitor the execution of changes in the IT environment and ensure quality of software deliveries through testing and verification procedures.
• Secure proper management of all IT assets; hardware, software and other intangibles such as licenses.
• Accountability for all local IT processes as defined by the company’s FS IT Process House.
• Maintenance of the organizational procedures and rules, methodology development, quality management, compliance with defined standards
• Security management and application of the group rules within the local system and organizational environment
• Technological support in area of data security (encryption, network access, technological data protection, etc.)
• Access and Identity Management Coordinator & Acting as Local IT Risk & Compliance Officer. Drive initiatives to improve adherence to the defined company’s FS IT Standards, and find synergy for the function

To accomplish those tasks your assets are/have

• Extraordinary intercultural acumen and experience – being a bridge builder
• Experienced with IT Operations, Application management, DevOps or IT consulting
• Intercultural understanding and skill to act differently with different people
• Experienced in delivering IT solutions that are fit to specific business needs
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in direct international environment
• PMP Certification/ PRINCE 2 in Project Management will be considered an advantage
• CISA/ CISM, ITIL v3 Certification and/or COBIT 5 will be considered a plus
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Change management mindset and active in driving organizational transformation
• Independent, proactive and solution-oriented

• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to work under pressure with multitasking skills
