How will you contribute to their vision

They are looking to hire a talented Product Designer Lead, passionate about designing amazing yet simple user-centered experiences. As a Lead Product Designer you will drive initiatives in one of their core product pillars, strategically lead the development of new or existing experiences collaborating closely with cross functional teams (PMs, Engineers, Designers etc) to define roadmap and increments for delivery.

How you’ll make an impact

• Strategically lead the development of standards and guidelines that clarify expectations for the design team
• Your impact will be a force multiplier, amplifying efforts to improve their design
• Mentor, influence and coach other designers
• Take a leading role in one of their core product pillars (Discovery, marketplace, growth)

As a Design lead at the company you will manage 2-3 Designers and you will report to Product Design Manager.

What you will be doing

• Collaborate closely with the product manager to define roadmap for design and increments for delivery
• Mentor and coach product designers, helping them grow in their skills and careers
• Own all sides of design from concept to launch: storyboards, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and pixel perfect assets
• Participate in user studies, competitive research and usability tests alongside User Research Team
• Work closely with developers to see design through to implementation
• Request early feedback through rapid prototypes or low fidelity wireframes
• Maintain consistency in visual elements and ensure that their design system and philosophy is applied across the product
• Collaborate with internal teams; communicate thoughts and expertise to the rest of the team
• Keep up with industry standards, new trends, UI//UX patterns etc

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant position
• Excellent Portfolio of UI/UX design solutions across a spectrum of platforms and services
• Experience working in a cross-discipline team environment
• Experience in user research, usability studies, personas
• Proficiency in relevant creative tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), we work with figma
• Familiarity with Adobe suite & prototyping tools
• Familiarity with version control system (git, Abstract etc)
• Demonstrated experience working with a design system, its curation, maintenance, and dissemination
• Self-motivated to prioritise and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines
• Positive attitude with a creative, solution-driven mindset
• Fluent in Greek
