Our E-Government project is the first Greek cloud platform for wireless ordering, since 2016. Their clientele and operations are expanding outside of Greece with 1st stop the UAE market. Since the summer of 2022 they have established their local presence and have already onboarded clients and integrated with the local food-tech ecosystem.

Their Point of Sale is a premium next generation end-to-end comprehensive cloud-based management ERP and operational platform, specialized to offer performance efficiency to All Day Café Bars, Restau-Bars, Beach & Pool Bars, Roof Gardens, Clubs, Hotels with café & bar facilities, Promoters of concerts and festivals, Museums, Spa & beauty centers, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Develop multiple database applications
• Design and develop many windows, user objects and data windows to enhance the PB applications.
• Develop new GUI pages for business needs.
• Tune and monitor, SQL and PL/SQL performance.
• Enhance existing GUI to become more user friendly.
• Used Object Oriented Language like PowerBuilder
• Create and modify / update new PB objects (windows, structures, functions, user objects using SQL).
• Work closely with the QA group in troubleshooting and clarifying issues arising from design change or anomalies encountered during testing.
• Develop back-end PL/SQL procedures for implementing business processes.
• Implement database changes and corresponding UI modification in application.
• Involve in creating Sybase procedures/packages and other database related development.

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Minimum 3 years of significant experience in delivering key components as part of a product release.
• Extensive experience in object-oriented languages (Power builder, Visual Studio.NET).
• Database knowledge (Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase) with a strong understanding of database technologies.
• Experience with Node.js, Vue.js or Angular will be considered as a plus
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
