Our Gaming project is for an established GameTech company operating in Europe, the Americas, and ROW countries (Greece, Brazil, Ireland, Finland, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Cyprus, and New Zealand), with hubs in Greece, Malta, Brazil, and Mexico and 1200+ employees across all countries of operation. They are committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements, continually pushing boundaries and delivering seamless entertainment and online gaming experiences to their rapidly expanding customer base.
Our client is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer who will contribute to building scalable, high-performance mobile applications used by a global user base. The role is aligned with the mobile technical roadmap, focusing on clean architecture, performance optimisation, and high-quality delivery. Our client’s mobile ecosystem includes Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, MVVM, Clean Architecture, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and modern iOS development practices.
The successful candidate will remain hands-on while contributing to technical decisions and improving engineering standards across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality native iOS applications aligned with the technical roadmap.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability across the application.
- Remain hands-on, contributing production-ready code and supporting feature delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Design teams to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Continuously monitor and improve application performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to technical improvements.
- Support the adoption of modern tools and development practices within the team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong experience in native iOS development using Swift (4+ years).
- Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Experience with asynchronous programming (Combine, GCD).
- Experience working with REST APIs and backend integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing practices.
- Experience working in Agile teams and cross-functional environments.
