Description:

They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to produce and implement functional software solutions. You would be expected to gracefully collaborate with a team to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical aspects of different projects. In this context, you should be able to work cooperatively with little supervision and, hence, have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. You would be also required to propose simple and innovative solutions to seemingly difficult problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Ensure software is updated with latest features

Requirements

• Proven work experience (minimum 4 years) as a Software Engineer or Software Developer, using Python. Good knowledge of other programming languages is considered a plus.
• Proven work experience (minimum 2 years) in developing REST applications using Django
• Proven work experience (minimum 2 years) on relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Experience designing interactive applications
• Experience with test-driven development
• Proficiency in software engineering tools
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Analytical mind with problem-solving attitude
• Ability to work independently and take initiatives
• Deep understanding of software design patterns
