Our client Qualco is an expert provider of debt portfolio management systems and technology-enabled services, covering all aspects of the debt collections and recoveries life-cycle. For over 15 years, they have been servicing the decision-making, analytical and operational needs of leading financial institutions and other organizations with receivable assets. With their development center in Greece, a strong business development and operations center in the United Kingdom and offices in France, Cyprus and Brazil, they support over 70 clients in more than 15 countries to accurately value their debt portfolios, streamline their collections operations and improve performance.
They are looking for an experienced Tech Support Engineer to join their team in Athens.
Responsibilities:
- Understand clients’ installations and processes;
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance;
- Build tools/queries to fulfil customer service requests and improve customer experience;
- Investigate and identify root cause concerning reported customer incidents; Perform service restoration actions when possible;
- Take part in the investigation and Problem Management processes – during the support & maintenance phases – by implementing bug fixes, upgrades and enhancements to our existing clients;
- Provide second level support for Qualco software services; and
- Develop/Update internal Monitoring Tool
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field of study;
- Work experience as a DevOps/Support Engineer or similar software engineering role;
- Experience in NET Framework, C#, databases and SQL;
- Microsoft ETL tools and IIS knowledge will be highly appreciated;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- High level of ownership and attention to detail;
- Team Spirit and passion for results;
- Client facing with good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skill; and
- Firm command of the English language.
