AI Creative Technologist

At A Glance

We are seeking an AI Creative Technologist to explore what AI makes possible and create experiences, products, and tools that people want to use. Working alongside our client’s AI Lead, you’ll bring creative thinking and hands-on experimentation to customer experiences and enterprise challenges. You’ll help shape the ideas, make them tangible, and develop the strongest ones with clients and colleagues. We’re looking for someone who is curious about technology, cares about the quality of what they make, and enjoys discovering possibilities through the work.
Someone who enjoys taking an idea from “what if?” to a working prototype. The ideal profile combines Product/UX thinking, Figma, strong visual taste and hands-on experimentation with GenAI/vibe-coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or Codex. This is not a traditional software engineering position: prior coding experience is optional.
The emphasis is on what the candidate has built, their portfolio, how they think, and their ability to use AI to rapidly create useful and engaging experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Your time will be spent researching, experimenting, designing, building with AI, presenting, and debating ideas. They work in a nimble, collaborative way, moving between customer journeys, Figma, vibe coding, and client conversations. Some projects will begin with a clear brief; others with a question. You’ll help decide what is worth creating and how to make it work, with room to experiment and learn along the way.

  • Experience and opportunity framing: Explore customer and business needs, question assumptions, and spot opportunities for useful or unexpected ideas. Think across journeys, services, channels, physical and digital touchpoints, and the people and systems behind them. Help shape the brief and identify where AI could make a meaningful contribution.
  • Creative development: Use Figma and vibe-coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalents to bring ideas to life as interactive experiences, tools, and AI-powered products. Use experiments and prototypes to explore directions, then refine promising work through feedback and testing. Bring the taste and attention to detail that make an experience distinctive and enjoyable to use.
  • Shaping how AI works: Explore the role AI should play within an experience or solution.
Experiment with how it creates content, responds to context, communicates, and helps people accomplish something. Consider its limitations and where people need understanding, choice, or control.
  • Client collaboration: Work with senior colleagues to explore opportunities with clients, contribute to pitches, and bring ideas into workshops and demonstrations. Explain your thinking, invite debate, and use what you learn to shape the next iteration.
  • Developing ideas into useful solutions: Help promising concepts progress through pilots and into reusable experiences, products, or services. Work with product and engineering colleagues to refine how they should work, document key decisions, and support their development into solutions clients can use and adopt.
  • Research and practice development: Stay curious about emerging AI capabilities, creative applications, and ways of working. Run focused experiments, share discoveries, and help the Agentic AI Lab develop reusable approaches. Contribute ideas that other teams can build on and adapt as the technology evolves.

Required Qualifications

  • Our client welcomes  junior and mid-level applicants, including recent graduates with a strong portfolio. They do not expect a particular academic or professional background: their team is multifaceted – your path might be product design, service design, creative technology, computer science, or something entirely different. They care about what you have made, how you think, and your ability to learn.
  • Hands-on vibe coding is essential. You use tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or equivalents to turn ideas into working experiences and tools. You can guide the tools, test what they produce, and iterate towards a better result. Prior coding knowledge is optional.
  • Your portfolio shows working experiences, tools, or experiments, with strong design taste, visual judgment, and UX fundamentals. You can explain your contribution, the choices you made, and what you learned. Personal and academic projects count. You are comfortable shaping interactions in Figma and refining the details as you build.
  • You think beyond UX solutions to consider the overall customer experience: how people experience brands and services across journeys, channels, and environments. You can connect creative possibilities with what customers and businesses need.
  • You have a practical understanding of AI behavior: how context and instructions affect a result, how AI can connect with knowledge and tools, and where it can fall short. You can explain what you have built and what needs further work or specialist input.
  • You are curious, adaptable, and comfortable with an unfinished brief. You ask useful questions, try things, and respond constructively to direct feedback. You can take responsibility for an agreed piece of work, with guidance appropriate to your experience.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and conversation. You enjoy sharing work, explaining your choices, and discussing ideas with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of front-end or back-end coding, APIs, or software development practices that helps you extend or troubleshoot your work. This is useful additional experience; it is not required for the role.
  • Experience or a strong interest in CRM, loyalty, personalization, marketing automation, branding, or enterprise customer experience platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce, or Braze.
  • Experience exploring voice and conversational experiences, tools that work with AI assistants, generative content, adaptive interfaces, or connected physical and digital experiences
