InfraOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled InfraOps Engineer to join our client’s IT Infrastructure Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, monitoring, and optimizing critical infrastructure systems, with strong focus on automation, observability, CI/CD processes, cloud technologies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role requires solid technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain infrastructure systems in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Monitor and optimize server and network performance to ensure stability and high availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across operating systems, virtualization
platforms, networks, and containerized environments. - Maintain and support physical and virtual servers, including performance and capacity management.
- Optimize and manage Docker images, container orchestration, and
Kubernetes deployments. - Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and automation workflows that enhance
performance, visibility, and operational efficiency. - Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across diverse
environments. - Manage system backups, restoration procedures, and contribute to
disaster recovery planning. - Ensure uptime, reliability, and observability of applications and
infrastructure components. - Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Grafana,
ELK Stack, NewRelic etc.). - Perform incident management and in-depth root cause analysis, preparing detailed incident documentation.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, build and release workflows (GitLab, Azure
DevOps, Jenkins).
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and system internals.
- Understanding of distributed systems, networking fundamentals, and
security best practices. - Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern container orchestration ecosystems.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code principles and tools (Terraform,
Ansible). - Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms: Prometheus,
Grafana, ELK, NewRelic. - Strong scripting abilities in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
- Basic understanding of Java and GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD toolchains: Azure DevOps, Jenkins,
GitLab. - Understanding of ITSM/ITIL methodologies.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Dynamic and proactive personality with strong communication skills.
- Collaborative team player capable of working effectively with cross
functional teams. - Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- High attention to detail, quality mindset, and ownership of deliverables.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with security and compliance best practices, including vulnerability management and infrastructure hardening.
- Knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery architectures for mission-critical environments.
- Experience with GitOps practices and deployment tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
Salary (Ind.): 2700-3000 € / Per month Gross
