We are seeking an Android Engineer to join our client’s growing technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Android EFT/POS applications, delivering secure and reliable payment solutions used in everyday transactions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, integrate applications with backend services through RESTful APIs, and contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design and testing to deployment and support. The ideal candidate combines strong Android development expertise with a quality-focused mindset and a passion for building high-performance applications in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Android EFT POS applications.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in software development, testing and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and defects. Maintain project documentation.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure solution quality
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Hands-on experience in building Android apps with strong familiarity in Android design principles and best practices.
- Experience in Java and Kotlin.
- Experience in C++ will be a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK (different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs (JSON) to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience in software architect role with integration/functional/UI Automation testing and background in mobile application security.
- Experience with Banking technologies and transactions processing would be an advantage.
- Excellent command of Greek & English language.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Android payment applications, EFT/POS terminals, or payment processing systems.
- Familiarity with modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger/Hilt).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile application deployment processes.
- Knowledge of mobile application security best practices, including secure data storage, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
- Exposure to Agile software development methodologies and collaboration within cross-functional product teams.
Salary (Ind.): 2000-2100 € / Per month Gross
