Our client is seeking to hire talented and motivated Software Engineers to join their exceptional team of professionals. The right candidate must have between 1 and 3 years of professional experience as a software engineer and be willing to apply her/his skills in co–creating solutions that support complex business processes and drive the digitalization roadmaps of large organizations in the Insurance and Financial Services industry.
This is a full–time position located in Athens, Greece. Currently, they are following a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities:
The role at our client will handle tasks like the following;
- Participate in drafting Functional requirement documents
- Perform technical analysis and Solution design activities
- Develop high–quality software in compliance with technical designs and business requirements following s/w development best practices
- Test software solutions at unit or integration level
- Suggest improvements
- Create technical documentation

Basic Requirements:
- Educational background in Technology (informatics, computer science,
electrical engineering, or similar) ideally combined with a post–graduate
level degree. - 1 to 3 years of proven professional experience as a software engineer
- Excellent software development skills with an emphasis on Object–Oriented Design
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Database design principles
- Team spirit, attention to detail, and a problem–solving attitude
- Willingness to understand the related business domains
- Enthusiastic about obtaining new knowledge and skills
- Good communication skills (in both written and oral form, in Greek and English)
- No pending military obligations in case of male candidates
Good to have:
- Experience in solutions delivery in SAP environments using ABAP and/or JAVA stacks
- Previous exposure in the insurance industry
