Role Overview

They are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager, AI Solutions Lead to join their AI Innovation team. This role will focus on driving the development and deployment of advanced AI applications, leading proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, and ensuring the successful integration of AI into prototypes. As a Senior Manager, you will oversee key AI initiatives and mentor junior team members, allowing the team to scale and take on more complex AI-driven projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers to define, develop, and deliver AI solutions. Your expertise in machine learning, Generative AI, and AI systems integration will be critical in advancing the team’s innovation capabilities.

Key Responsibilites:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven PoC and prototyping efforts.
• Provide strategic direction on the application of AI and machine learning technologies to solve business problems and drive innovation.
• Work closely with data scientists to select, fine-tune, and optimize machine learning models, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and accuracy requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of AI models into prototypes and backend systems.
• Mentor and guide junior AI engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Ensure that AI solutions are tested, validated, and prepared for handoff to production teams, following best practices in AI ethics, explainability, and security.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in AI/ML, continuously exploring new tools, frameworks, and methods to improve the team’s capabilities.
• Communicate technical outcomes and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders, aligning AI goals with broader business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience working in AI/ML or related fields, with proven expertise in developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and model evaluation techniques.
• Strong experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Python.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large-scale datasets.
• Hands-on experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments, with a solid understanding of MLOps practices.
• Experience in leading teams or projects, with a track record of delivering successful AI solutions in a business environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and building AI pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Knowledge of Generative AI or natural language processing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ethical AI practices, model interpretability, and explainability techniques.
• Management consultant experience.
• Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries, understanding of domain-specific challenges in AI/ML applications.
