Pfizer Internship – Software/Solution Engineer

ROLE SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

With oversight:
• Modifying software to correct errors, enhance performance, add new features and capabilities
• Conducting and overseeing system testing and validation procedures
• Conducting and overseeing software programming and documentation development
• Collaborating with business users or departments on technical issues, including software system design
• Evaluating and recommend new software products/systems according to requirements and user needs
• Assessing and planning software and system updates/changes considering downtime and how it affects users
• Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements
• Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status
• Discussing with project managers to gather information on limitations or capabilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Having or on studying for a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree
• Eagerness to learn the software development life cycle
• The desire to work in fast-paced environment
• Eager to develop interpersonal and communication skills
