Due to its expansion, our client is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and talented SYSTEM ENGINEER in the area of Athens.

- Perform structured cabling (Ethernet and fiber optics) for network and system
interconnectivity. - Configure connection settings on LINUX servers and Windows terminals; occasionally
on firewalls, switches, and VPN devices. - Implement and validate VLAN segmentation for secure and efficient network traffic
management. - Configure firewall rules and policies, including service/port access control.
- Set up and troubleshoot switch configurations.
- Implement network routing strategies to ensure optimal data flow.
- Configure and test high-availability clusters using Pacemaker.

- Network knowledge and management (routing, switches, VPN, firewalls and network
security) - Knowledge and handling of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Knowledge in Operating Systems (Linux, Windows)
- Availability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Basic knowledge of database systems and administration tasks
- Previous experience with firewall administration and policies (especially Fortinet) would
be considered as an asset - Familiarity with server hardware, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and server
management - Can use Bash scripts for automation and infrastructure management
- Very good communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player, ability to collaborate effectively in an international multicultural
environment
