Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems that enhance our client’s digital platforms, while joining a newly formed team. The role focuses on building advanced optimization solutions for energy trading platforms from scratch, leveraging machine learning and techniques such as MILP for daily trading optimization and energy price forecasting.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in large-scale projects, preferably in trading or energy markets, and can take ownership of technical direction. Flexibility with tools and technologies is important, as the stack is adaptable.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine learning models
- Proven team or technical leadership experience.
- Build and maintain data pipelines
- Deploy and monitor models in production
- Optimize model performance and scalability
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistics
- Experience with REST APIs and integration into applications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Knowledge of data processing tools and libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
- Understanding of model deployment and MLOps practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with NLP or LLMs
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
- Knowledge of Azure ML or similar platforms
- Experience with data engineering tools
