Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of Databases, Data Warehouses, and BI solutions.
- Development and optimization of ETL/ELT processes (e.g., SSIS or equivalent tools).
- User training on BI solutions and best practices in Data Warehousing.
- Preparation of technical and functional documentation (specifications, manuals, runbooks).
- Supervision of production systems post-implementation: monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Analysis of business processes and client requirements.
- Collaboration with existing and potential clients to identify needs and propose appropriate IT solutions.
- Contribution to the overall growth of the company and enhancement of team processes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server & Analysis Services (SSAS), Postgres DB.
- Experience with Integration Services (SSIS) or similar ETL tools.
- Proven expertise in SQL/RDBMS topics: performance tuning (indexes, execution plans), partitioning, data warehousing (star/snowflake), backup & server maintenance.
- Solid understanding of OLAP/cube architecture and normalization.
- Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Targit BI).
- Knowledge of Python or C# for data automation/orchestration.
- Experience drafting technical specifications and participating in RFPs/proposals.
- Collaboration with Sales teams in presales activities, presentations, and RFP processes.
- Participation in client meetings/presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
