We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid/Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering with specific expertise in SAP BW/S-4HANA and Microsoft data technologies. This role will focus on uniting two existing data warehouses—one in SAP and one in Microsoft—into a single, cohesive data warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and working closely with various teams to support this major integration project.

• Lead the unification of two data warehouses (SAP and Microsoft) into a single, cohesive data warehouse.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow and Microsoft Azure Data Factory.
• Implement and manage data flows between SAP BW/S-4HANA systems and other data sources to ensure seamless integration and high performance.
• Develop and optimize data models to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Optimize data processing workflows and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, data models, and integration processes.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Apache Airflow, Microsoft Azure Data Factory, and other ETL tools.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Strong skills in data modeling, including familiarity with star schema and snowflake schema designs.
• Experience with Spark and other big data technologies.
• Knowledge of Power BI and other data visualization tools.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions, including Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL DW.
• Working with SAP BW/S-4HANA is considered a plus
