The Group operates primarily in Greece but also maintains an international presence through its banking subsidiaries. At the end of 2023, the Bank maintained a total of 327 units, including 313 branches (18 of which are tellerless) and 14 transaction offices.
They are currently looking for an IT Internal Auditor (at associate or senior level) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities include:
Design, execution, and reporting of audits/evaluations related to IT systems, cybersecurity, and data governance.
Risk assessment regarding controls over IT systems, data networks, and applications.
Providing recommendations for mitigating identified weaknesses.
Conducting special investigations.
Supervising audit teams and coordinating audit activities. Depending on the audit’s type and scope, the individual may either lead the team or take on specialized work (team size: 1–5).
Oversight of third-party projects (e.g., outsourcing or flexible capacity), including supervising consulting firms involved in unit projects.

Job Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Sciences, or Economics.
Postgraduate studies in IT, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, or Data Analytics (preferred).
Previous work experience in a financial institution, audit/consulting firm, or IT security service provider as an Internal Auditor (preferred), or as a Consultant in IT systems and/or cybersecurity, or as IT department staff.
Specialized Knowledge:
Proven experience (at least 5 years) in operating or auditing IT general controls and/or cybersecurity.
Knowledge in IT security risk assessments.
Desired knowledge in operating systems (Windows and Linux), database administration, data networks, data governance, cloud computing, and participation in cybersecurity/information security projects.
Preferred professional certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP, CEH (indicative).
Languages and Skills:
Very good command of English (C1 level).
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities across different teams and projects.
Analytical and synthetic thinking.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness for continuous learning.
Special Requirements:
Ability to travel within Attica and occasionally abroad depending on the Division’s needs.
