Role Summary:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. In addition to managing IT projects, the role also includes overseeing security-related tasks and coordinating all necessary actions to address and close risks identified within our systems. This involves ensuring compliance with established security standards, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies and driving remediation efforts to protect system functionality and maintain data integrity. The IT Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various stakeholders and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
• Resource Allocation: Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
• Budget Management: Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals and manage expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project team members on a proactive basis, ensuring team collaboration and effective communication.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.

Desired Capabilities:

• Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban or other agile methodologies for project delivery and collaboration.
• Technical Background will be considered a plus.
• Comfortable navigating complex technical environments and collaborating with developers and architects.
