The successful candidate will work on a multitude of tasks supporting bank’s business in developing web and middleware applications. In coordination with other IT teams he/she will contribute to design and develop solutions of both new and existing applications. He/she will be part of the development department of the bank and he/she will collaborate with the developing team to ensure project deliverables. The role reports to the Systems Design & Development Section Head.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain banking applications.
- Integrate APIs with other systems of the bank.
- Develop and extend middleware applications and front-end of web applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug and test applications.
- Exporting data from applications and creating reports for the company’s business units
- Collaborate with the development team to define and design technical solutions.
- Understanding business requirements and working together with other IT teams.
Key requirements
- Long experience in Java.
- Long experience with Relational Databases (MSQL, MySQL, MariaDB)
- Experience in consuming and orchestrating Restful and SOAP APIs.
- Basic knowledge of Linux Systems.
- Experience in PHP and Python is desirable.
- Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (HTML/ CSS, JavaScript) are highly desirable.
- Git experience is desirable.
Education and Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of working experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field.
- Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.
