We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our client’s growing Integration team. In this hands-on role, you will act as a core practitioner responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the automated platforms that deliver Eyeonix’s mission-critical software. You will operate across a complex hybrid landscape, managing resources in both public cloud and traditional on-premises data centers.

We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about Infrastructure-as-Code, comfortable troubleshooting across Linux and Windows environments, and eager to translate architectural designs into robust, automated reality while eliminating manual operational toil.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Automation Development (IaC): Develop, test, and maintain robust Infrastructure-as-Code templates (primarily using Terraform and Ansible) to provision and configure servers, networking, and storage across hybrid cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premises virtualization platforms based on defined architectural standards.
• CI/CD Pipeline Operations & Optimization: Take ownership of maintaining the health and efficiency of existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for our Java-based applications. Proactively identify bottlenecks or instabilities in the build/deploy process and implement optimizations to improve speed and reliability.
• Advanced Infrastructure Troubleshooting: Act as a primary technical responder for complex infrastructure alerts and deployment failures escalated from entry-level engineers. Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on technical incidents across OS, network, and automation layers, and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Scripting & Tooling: Identify repetitive manual operational tasks (such as complex environment refreshes, log rotation strategies, backup, or health status checks) and develop reliable automation scripts using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration: Actively contribute to the team’s technical documentation and operational runbooks. Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior members of the team on automation best practices and tooling standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of practical, hands-on experience in a DevOps, Systems Administration, or Site Reliability Engineering role in a production environment.
• Infrastructure-as-Code Proficiency: Strong practical experience writing and managing infrastructure using Terraform for provisioning and Ansible for configuration management.
• Hybrid OS Skills: Strong administration and troubleshooting skills in Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu) are required, coupled with functional working knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• CI/CD & Build Ecosystem: Proven experience managing modern CI/CD platforms and familiarity with the Java build ecosystem (Maven/Gradle) and artifact management.
• Scripting Ability: Competency in writing reliable automation scripts in at least one major language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
•  Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying technical issues and driving them to resolution independently.
