Our client is a leading software development company based in Athens and operating internationally. They design & develop Planning & Scheduling software solutions using state of the art software technology. Their clientele consists of large-scale companies in the Retail, Hospitality, Services and Manufacturing sectors in Greece & abroad.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web-based Java applications
• Collaborate passionately with colleagues, adhering to highest professional standards and ensuring the delivery of quality software
• Identify and apply appropriate modern technologies and techniques for software development

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field (ATEI – AEI – other University)
• Passion for software development and new technologies, enthusiasm for teamwork and production of quality software
• At least two (2) years of experience in developing web-based Java applications within a software development firm
• Good knowledge of Java
• Good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate & SQL
• Good knowledge of the English language

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience with  automated testing frameworks
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented design principles
