DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our client’s engineering team. Our client specializes in developing large-scale ICT solutions for the public sector, delivering secure and mission-critical systems that support digital transformation. In this role, you will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Azure cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and enhance the reliability, security, and performance of the software delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with Development, QA, and Support teams to ensure efficient and high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps — build validation, quality gates and release workflows.
- Configure and enforce branch policies and pull-request gates across repositories.
- Manage Azure infrastructure (App Service, storage, configuration) and deployments (stage → demo → prod).
- Implement secrets management (Azure Key Vault) and application security scanning (secret, code and dependency scanning).
- Build observability — telemetry (OpenTelemetry / Application Insights), logging, health checks and alerting.
- Automate environment setup, developer tooling and onboarding.
- Support safe database deployment (migrations / SQL) and release and version management.
- Track and improve delivery metrics — deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate and time to restore.
- Collaborate with Development, QA and Support on incident response and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years in DevOps, SRE or build-and-release, ideally around .NET and Angular applications.
- Strong Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, branch policies) and Git.
- Solid Microsoft Azure (App Service, storage, configuration).
- Scripting with PowerShell and/or Bash.
- Good understanding of CI/CD, quality gates and secure delivery (OWASP, secrets management).
- SQL Server fundamentals and safe database-deployment practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Infrastructure as Code (Bicep / ARM / Terraform).
- Observability stacks (Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, Grafana / Kibana).
- Containerization (Docker) and/or Kubernetes.
- Advanced Security tooling (CodeQL code scanning, dependency scanning, secret scanning).
- Experience with DORA metrics and release management.
Salary (Ind.): 2500-3000 € / Per month Gross
