About The Role
As a member of our client’s QA team, you will:
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios for new features and changes to existing applications.
- Ensure all test cases cover functional, UI/UX, integration, regression, and edge cases.
- Update test scenarios based on feedback and changes in application functionality.
- Execute manual test cases according to established testing processes and report any bugs, defects, or usability issues.
- Perform detailed exploratory, smoke, regression, and acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and document bugs and issues effectively.
- Identify and suggest areas for improvement in the quality assurance processes and testing strategies.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
- BSc in Computer Science or a similar discipline
- Proven experience in manual testing of software applications.
- At least 3 years of hands-on on quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Teamwork).
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure comprehensive testing.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Basic knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, SoapUI, etc.) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
