QA Software Engineer

Created in 2014, our client is a French Deep Tech in e-Health aiming at improving patient diagnosis and care anywhere anytime thanks to innovative connected solutions. The company has two main activities: medical devices and software manufacturers (100+ employees), and medical services (150+ employees).They cover 3 main therapeutical areas: neurology, cardiology and sleep disorders.
Our client operates in France, USA, China and are currently expanding in Europe.

Within R&D department, the software development teams are working on several products for medical diagnosis and patient care:

• Innovative connected solution for electroencephalogram, involving Hardware/Firmware/IOT/Cloud/mobile app/WebApp/Datascience
• Care Coordination Platform for medical practices and tele-expertise activities, with the integration of IA algorithms and connected medical devices.

They are creating a subsidiary in Greece to support their R&D development activities. The new team in Greece will work in direct collaboration with the other software development teams located in France.

In this context, they are looking for QA Software Engineer to develop the necessary tools and perform the tests on the medical platforms developed by our client.
The position involves coordinating with the Validation Team and the Development teams in Paris and setting the foundation for a testing process providing high level of quality on release.

Missions

• Build and document test plans
• Build independent test tools and environment
• Improve test process (for example bringing more automation to tests)
• Perform tests before the releases: non-regression, new features, integration and performance
• Analyse and qualify bugs, investigate using logs and monitoring tools
• Scope of the mission: care coordination platform, Neuronaute medical platform (in a second time)

Expected profile

• 3+ years of experience of testing in R&D in the industry as an IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification) or QA engineer (experience in the medical ecosystem is appreciated but not mandatory)
• Master’s degree in computer science
• Professional English (mandatory), French (appreciated)
• Intellectual curiosity for innovation, thirst of knowledge

Expected technical skills

• Experience in testing tools (high level tests, at the user level and end-to-end)
• Mandatory: functional tests tools like Behat, Selenium, …
• Appreciated: performance tests tools like Jmeter, Gatling, …
• Basics in development languages involved (PHP Symfony, React, ReactJS, Python would be appreciated)
• Good understanding of the technical environment and integration
