Our client, one of the leading Groups of companies in Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Romania in providing quality consumer goods, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer.
The Position:
- Reporting to the IT Systems Administration Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for:
- Planning, Design and Optimization, the Group’s Internal and External Network infrastructure to ensure the undisrupted operation of the Group’s Applications and Services and the best Customer Service.
- Working closely with the IT teams to enhance and secure network performance.
- Monitoring network performance and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Ensuring network security by implementing and maintaining security policies and measures.
- Staying updated with the latest network technologies and industry trends.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Information Technology or related field)
- Extensive experience 5+ years in network engineering and management position.
- Experience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Customer Focus
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and technical staff.
- Good command of the English language
- Co-ordinate and/or manage network/voice related projects and deliveries to internal clients
- Act as a subject matter expert for network technologies and solutions.
- Collaborate with security teams to conduct audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
