What makes this role exciting and challenging:

A Software Engineer in Test (SET) develops software for testing: tools, frameworks, and automated tests. SET role  focuses  primarily on automation for running tests quickly and repeatedly to produce faster and stable releases. The role includes close collaboration with Product owners, QAs, Dev, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure Test Automation best practices, code quality, increase the testability of code and improve the quality of the deliverables by continuous regression testing.

As part of your everyday responsibilities, you will:

• Collaborate with Product Management, Dev teams and DevOps to ensure Test Automation best practices and code quality
• Provide constructive feedback to the team to facilitate the improvement of any issues
• Understand and clarify the business requirements to create effective and comprehensive automated test scenarios
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development life cycle
• Analyze test results and identify root causes of issues
• Support/Implementing the deployment process of test environments and be able to debug them.
• Following best engineering practices and coding standards.
• Manage code, environment, data, tools, and any other requirements for automation testing within any phase

Requirements

Key qualifications for your success:

• Computer Science Degree (BSc or higher)
• 0-6 months of experience working as a Software Engineer in Test, Developer, or DevOps.
• Ability to code in at least some of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby, or Javascript.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Organize and prioritize work effectively, able to adjust in a changing environment
• A desire to learn new skills and develop your existing skillset
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback in a positive/professional manner
• Enjoy working collaboratively
• Positive attitude and a good sense of humor

It would be highly advantageous if you had:

• Familiarity in applying automation frameworks using some of the following tools: Spock, Junit, Selenium, Cypress, Webdriver.io, Cucumber, Playwright.
• Familiarity on CI/CD tools and practices (e.g. Jenkins, Github Actions, Travis, Circle CI, Gitlab CI).
