Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in backend development, particularly with expertise in Python, including frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI. The candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining backend solutions to support their applications.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and frameworks such as Django and/or FastAPI.
• Implement data models, business logic, and data processing pipelines to support application functionality.
• Ensure code quality through proper testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in backend development.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a backend developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django,Flask and/or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with data validation and serialization libraries such as Pydantic.
• Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional Skills (Big Plus):
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Docker Compose.
• Knowledge of message brokers and task queues such as Redis, RabbitMQ, and Celery.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. Desired, but not mandatory:
• Docker Containers \ Docker Compose
• Experience in working with Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence)
• Message Brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (ReactJS, HTML, CSS
