As an IT Operations Specialist with a specialization in systems engineering and cloud operations, you will be a crucial member of their IT Ops team responsible for managing and optimizing cloud and on-premises environments and workloads. Your role will be integral in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure.
The role entails
- Deploy, configure, and maintain IaaS, PaaS and on premises infrastructure resources to meet our client’s requirements with a preference for cloud architectures when possible.
- Continuously monitor system performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Implement our client’s security standards and guidelines to safeguard assets and data.
- Stay current with cloud best practices and proactively propose improvements.
- Address technical issues promptly and serve as level 2 support.
- Effectively diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize downtime and collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex problems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and our client’s cloud services and suggest improvements and optimizations.
- Engage in the local implementations of global technology projects.
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work alongside global teams to oversee our client’s Azure managed services.
What they are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or Cloud Operations Specialist with a strong focus on Azure.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Azure services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
