Our client is a software development company located in the Athens Metropolitan Area. They specialize in handling big data end-to-end, from ETL pipelines to flexible APIs for fast data access. Their expertise lies in developing cloud-native, microservices-based applications using Kubernetes as the core architecture. They also utilize open-source frameworks and tools like Spark and Airflow for data processing. With over two decades of experience, their highly skilled team has worked in various world-class software houses.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a DevOps Engineer at our client’s. As a DevOps Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve developing and maintaining software applications, managing infrastructure, and implementing cloud computing solutions. You will work with Linux systems and databases to ensure smooth data operations.

Qualifications

 Required

• 3+ years experience managing cloud-hosted infrastructure (AWS)
• Proven hands-on experience on AWS Services (e.g., RDS, EC2, EMR, EKS)
• Software Development and Infrastructure skills
• Experience in Cloud Computing
• Proficiency in Linux systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Education

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a related field is required
