Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid Software Developer to join their dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js and related technologies, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and efficient RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with modern JavaScript frameworks like React.
- Optimize application performance and implement security best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs efficiently.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Node.js and related technologies.
- Contribute to the improvement of development processes and technical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Proven expertise in backend development with Node.js and Express.js.
- Familiarity with frontend development using React and integration of backend APIs.
- Experience with tools and libraries like Redux, React Query, and unit testing frameworks.
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git.
- Solid understanding of design patterns and scalable architecture principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in performance optimization, security, and maintainability practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in team environments.
- A passion for continuous learning and applying new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and remote collaboration.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical initiatives.
