Eligibility Criteria

To participate in WE LEAD Data Science Bootcamp, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
✔️ Be a woman or an individual identifying themselves as a woman
✔️ Be 18 years old or above
✔️ Strong interest in launching a career in tech, reskill, or re-entering the tech industry after a break
✔️ Have good knowledge of both Greek and English languages
✔️ Meet AT LEAST ONE of the following criteria*:

  • Academic Background: Hold a degree or are in their senior year in Computer Science, Hardware and/or Software Engineering, STEM,  or other related field OR

 

  • Work Experience: Have at least 6 months of working experience in a relevant technology sector, such as databases, data analysis, machine learning or software development OR

 

  • Project Participation: Have actively participated in a relevant technology project, such as:
    • Designing and implementing databases.
    • Developing data visualizations with tools like Power BI.
    • Conducting data analysis using Python.
    • Working on AI-related projects, including predictive or generative AI

     

  • Programming Knowledge: Demonstrate an understanding of basic programming principles through the successful completion of any relevant course, whether attended live or online. This could include courses from platforms like LinkedIn, Udemy, Coursera, or other training providers.

*Meeting any of these criteria ensures that participants have a foundational understanding of computer science concepts, providing a solid basis for learning and excelling in the bootcamps.


Registration Process

*Please note that the stages of the application process may be subject to change.

1️⃣ Submit Your Application: Provide us with your personal details, educational background, work experience (if applicable), and any other relevant information that showcases your interest and readiness to participate in our bootcamp.
2️⃣Technical test: This test will help us assess your level of knowledge in computer science and data-related concepts and your critical thinking. Don’t worry if you don’t get all the questions right!
3️⃣ First meeting: This interview will give you the opportunity to learn more about the program, its schedule and commitments, and ask our team any questions.  It will help us further assess your skills, knowledge and readiness for the training program.
4️⃣ Final Interview: This interview serves as an opportunity to discuss the program further and decide if it is a perfect fit for you.

Data Science & Business Intelligence

October 2024 – February 2025
Structure:

  • Orientation week
  • 100 tech training hours in 17 weeks
  • Tech training hours per week: 4 or 8
  • Mondays and Wednesdays: 18.00 – 21.15
  • Graduation

 

Please note that additional time for self-study and practice will be needed to fully grasp the concepts and apply them effectively

What you’ll learn:

  • Database Management: SQL, Advance Concepts and Operation on Relational Databases.
  • Data Visualization: Power BI
  • Python Programming: Pandas & Matplotlib libraries, Data Analysis
  • Machine Learning: Python libraries for ML and ML Workflows

WE LEAD Bootcamp on Data Science and Business Intelligence is here to empower women professionals by providing them with extensive knowledge and practical skills useful for the tech industry. This program equips women participants with the latest technologies and tools, enabling them to thrive in the job market and pursue careers in data and AI-related roles.
