We are looking for an experienced DevOps that brings a broad set of technical skills and achievements, development and automation focused mindset to solving problems, who is eager to tackle a few of technology’s greatest challenges and make an impact on thousands, if not millions, of users. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of reliable and secure infrastructure, enabling company’s digital transformation journey. Your technical expertise will help streamline operations, enhance system reliability, and ensure seamless collaboration between teams.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain Generali’s on-premises infrastructure to meet scalability and security requirements.
- Automation: Implement automation tools and processes to improve system efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
- CI/CD Implementation: Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure faster and more reliable deployments.
- System Monitoring: Develop and monitor dashboards for system performance, troubleshooting, and uptime optimization.
- Collaboration: Partner with development, operations, and security teams to enable continuous improvement and alignment with Generali’s technology goals.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, processes, and best practices.
- Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies to identify opportunities for modernizing and enhancing Generali’s infrastructure solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a strong emphasis on on-premises cloud environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration and shell scripting.
- Strong knowledge of networking, load balancing, and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
