Requirements
- Establishes and maintains network performance.
- IP address auditing.
- Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation.
- Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
- Configures routers/switches/firewalls/WiFi devices.
- Designs and optimizes Lan/Wan networks.
- Identifies potential issues and implement solutions proactively.
- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications etc
- Provide expert-level support through escalated technical support.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external customers, vendors, and partners.
- Be flexible for occasional business trips.
Typical Requirements
- A degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of first-hand experience handling network & server infrastructure and also systems lifecycle management
- Relevant Professional Certifications
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Jira system
- Good Knowledge of IT system configuration and maintenance
- Ability to manage company systems including physical and virtual servers, laptops, authentication systems, remote access and mobility systems
- Self – motivated, strong time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple balls
- Ability to work in a fast-moving team which values communication & team spirit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek & English, especially with technical audience
