The Role: Analytics Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated Analytics Engineer to join our client’s Business Intelligence team. You’ll help build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers analytics, reporting, and insight generation across their global Gaming operations.

You’ll work closely with BI Analysts, Data Engineers, and Product teams in multiple countries, ensuring data is high-quality, accessible, and actionable. They value experimentation, creativity, and accountability — and we’re looking for someone eager to grow, learn, and make an impact on millions of users.

The team operates with a centralized approach, supporting multiple squads with structured processes that ensure clarity and alignment. Beyond delivery, they invest in each engineer’s growth through learning opportunities, courses, and mentorship.

As an Analytics Engineer, you will:

• Implement best practices in data modeling to maintain data integrity and develop robust test designs.
• Collaborate with BI Analysts to translate complex business requirements into scalable, operational solutions.
• Design and manage efficient data structures for large-scale reporting and analysis.
• Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for accurate and timely data delivery.
• Support reporting processes, automate self-service analytics, and enhance production support for end-users.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical role.
• Strong experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development.
• Solid background in data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling).
• Understanding of data quality, testing methodologies, and observability.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Continuous improvement mindset, attention to detail, and high ownership.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with data warehousing technologies (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Experience with dbt, version control (Git), and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of the Gaming industry or BI tools like Power BI/Tableau.
