ROLE SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will support the delivery of new digital products and solutions – as well as enhancements and ongoing operations – for company-wide communications and corporate engagement channels. This includes support of the Pfizer-branded market websites globally and regionally and the systems they integrate with as well as other reputation-driven channels that may arise.
• Understand the project’s functional/technical requirements and provide support to the functional/technical teams, helping the team to solve challenges and engendering a collaborative, knowledge sharing environment.
• Analyze and summarize operational data, identifying trends or areas for improvement
• Modifying software to correct errors, enhance performance, add new features and capabilities
• Collaborating with business users or departments on technical issues, including software system design
• Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Having or on studying for a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree
• The desire to work in fast-paced environment
• Eager to develop interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of the SharePoint framework including APIs, web parts, applications pages, workflows, event receivers, and timer jobs
• Some experience with web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery/React, and CSS
