Our client is seeking a skilled SAP SD Consultant to spearhead their Sales & Distribution projects. This crucial role is dedicated to aligning SAP SD implementations with complex business needs and SAP’s best practices. The ideal candidate will be adept at stakeholder management and delivering high-quality SAP SD solutions within a dynamic, high-volume retail context.

Scope of the role:

As an SAP SD Consultant, your focus will be on enhancing, optimizing, and developing new Sales & Distribution flows within an existing SAP framework. You will be instrumental in refining current processes and crafting innovative ones to keep pace with changing business demands and industry benchmarks, especially in a bustling retail environment.

Key responsibilities, accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Business Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and analyse business requirements, pinpointing areas for process improvement and system enhancements within the Sales & Distribution domain.
• Solution Design: Create detailed solutions to tackle business challenges, leveraging your deep knowledge of SAP SD.
• Implementation: Take the lead or play a significant role in the deployment of SAP SD solutions, ensuring they meet project goals and deliver visible benefits.
• Testing: Oversee and execute testing activities to verify solution functionality and performance, ensuring they meet the required standards.
• User Support: Offer ongoing support and advice to users, resolving any issues and facilitating the successful adoption of new systems.
• Documentation: Keep technical documentation for Sales & Distribution solutions up to date, promoting knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Demonstrated success in delivering comprehensive SAP SD solutions through entire project lifecycles.
• Strong capability to innovate system solutions and communicate effectively with all company levels.
• Experienced in managing vendors/integrators and proficient in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Highly adaptable, capable of juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP SD, including participation in a minimum of 2 full-cycle implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP Greek localizations, retail settings, SAP IS Retail, SAP CAR, and ABAP debugging skills.

Nice to have technical/professional qualifications:

• Additional certifications or training related to SAP SD or retail environments.
