Our client is seeking a Senior skilled Cloud Delivery Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cloud-based projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Cloud Delivery Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business stakeholders, to ensure that project requirements are clearly defined and that project goals are achieved.

This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, strong project management skills, with use of Agile methodologies and the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.

Ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cloud Delivery, Migrations to Cloud, Infrastructure architecture and/or operations.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• Demonstrates active learning with ownership and consistently applied technical/functional competence
• Ensures that customers’ needs are understood, expectations are managed, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved or exceeded
• Lead and collaborate with technical teams to deliver cloud solutions, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Works proactively with internal customers, product owners and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Acts as a Release Train Engineer in Cloud Platforms, synchronizing the delivery of multiple Cloud agile teams, through effective collaboration with Vendors:

o Preparation & Planning – Budget, Resources, Scope, Risks, Timing

o Execution – Daily tasks, Cost, Customer expectations, Communication & Reporting

o Manage multiple epics and projects in parallel

• Vendor Management for delivery services in the Cloud (public/hybrid infrastructure)
• Transfers knowledge/expertise across the internal & external agile teams and 3rd party vendors to ensure counterparts are strong experts with sufficient knowledge and understanding on the Cloud Platform Deliverables and Key Success Factors

o Vendor Management, incl. Selection, Comparison, Negotiations

o Proactive work with Vendors to assure meeting business objectives and expectation

• Continuously evaluate and improve the cloud delivery quality and efficiency
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and agile management practices.

Requirements:

• University Degree in a relevant area
• Min 10 years of relevant work experience

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud infrastructure, management, migration or architecture,
• Strong technical background in cloud computing, including experience with AWS, Azure(preferred), or GPC.
• Strong delivery skills, with experience with Cloud migrations or Cloud deployment scoping & deployments (to hyperscalers or Hybrid Cloud)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Vendor management skills, knowledge and experience in vendor selection, contracting, budgeting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Desired extras:

• Qualifications and/or experience in the area of Project Management , Agile and Scrum, SAFe (preferred)
• Experience in Managing suppliers providing 1st and 2nd level administration/operations services
• Understanding/certification of cloud security principles and practices
