They became the 1st integrated energy provider in Greece with natural gas & electricity products.
The company’s primary objective in the Greek energy market is to provide integrated energy solutions to its customers in the entire territory. In this context, the company has sealed its entry in the electricity market, having acquired by the Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) a 20-year license to supply 350MW of electricity. This will allow the company to offer bundled products, as well as electricity and gas products and services, totally covering the consumers’ energy needs, both at residential and at business levels. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud solutions with a focus on Azure, while also leveraging AWS for a multi-cloud approach
- Leverage his/her skills to propose and/ or verify solution architecture in the context of new ICT projects
- Lead the technology selection and automation of cloud infrastructure, ensuring it meets their digital transformation objectives
- Optimize data architectures to achieve superior resilience, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Support ICT teams, leading technology roadmap, by providing technology advice and, where applicable, assisting in the implementation of cloud components
- Ensure data security and privacy by implementing appropriate identity management, access controls, and data encryption techniques.
- Optimize database performance and scalability by tuning database parameters and recommending hardware upgrades.
- Translate technical solutions into business value, making cloud technologies accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with other internal teams and external partners.
- Produce quality documentation for solution designs.
- Follow ITIL process (incident, problem, change management, etc.)
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud development and/ or operations with a focus on architecting, building, maintaining, and securing cloud solutions
- Proven experience in delivering underlying cloud platforms as products (Azure), ideally within transformation programs, including the rollout of new technologies.
- Experience working with public, hybrid, and on-premises private clouds would be an advantage • Strong SQL and cloud database skills (e.g., MS SQL Server, Dataverse, SQL Datawarehouse etc.).
- Extensive technological expertise in IT, in particular within Azure cloud domain (Public/ Private services; Operations & Administration, Architecture, Security control services, Containerization, hybrid cloud)
- Knowledge of a modern programming language and/ or scripting (e.g., Azure CLI, Bicep, Powershell, Python, JavaScript etc.) scripting would be an additional benefit.
- Very good knowledge in English – writing & speaking
Educational Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology / Software Engineering.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science would be an asset.
- Cloud certifications, with a focus on Azure, would be an asset.
