We are currently seeking an experienced Tech Facilitator. As a Team Lead Tech Facilitator, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and configuring complex applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading your team to deliver high-quality solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for making technical and architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and contributing to strategic discussions. Your expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with your experience in Cloud-based architectures and Kubernetes, will be critical to the success of our projects.

You will be joining a FinTech project for a dynamic banking organization active in seven countries, with total assets of €60.0 billion and 13,512 employees. With a total network of 700 branches in Greece and abroad, it offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services to its retail and corporate customers. It holds a strategic position in retail and business banking in Bulgaria and Serbia, as well as offering distinguished Wealth Management services in Cyprus, Luxembourg and London and is also present in Romania. Until now, we had build the biggest Omnichannel in the area of technology in the GR market regarding the FinTech area. We had already implement more than 10 Scrum Teams and now we expand our portfolio of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable, high-performance applications
    Define and implement best practices for software development, CI/CD, and DevOps.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and strategic decision-making
    Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest Java, Spring Boot, and Cloud-native technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development with Java.
  • Expert proficiency in Java & Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture, Cloud-based applications, and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Azure Kubernetes Service – AKS, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and version control (Git, GitLab, Jenkins).
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Previous experience leading or coordinating engineering teams in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise or fintech systems with complex, distributed architectures.
  • Practical understanding of cloud-native delivery practices in Azure environments beyond basic usage.
  • Experience driving engineering excellence initiatives such as DevOps adoption, automation, and release optimization.
  • Background in mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership within cross-functional product teams.

Salary (Ind.): 3200-3600 € / Per month Gross
